Why does Moses and Elijah appear with Jesus on the mount of transfiguration? In this talk, Judah Smith gives us his insight as to why.
I had never thought about this before.
Jesus is first seen standing with Moses and Elijah, then after God said “This is My Son, whom I love; with Him I am well pleased. Listen to Him!”, Peter, James, and John bowed. When they looked up they saw no one except Jesus!
Is this symbolic showing the fulfillment of the law(Moses), and the absence of the need of prophecy (Elijah).
